Founded in 1974 as a boutique winery by brothers Bill and Ross Spence, Matua became the first producer of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Currently owned by global drinks giant Treasury Wine Estates, Matua continues to innovate refreshing products that offer chill vibes to wine connoisseurs around the world.
Their latest launch is the Matua bagnum (bag + magnum) which is an environmentally friendlier alternative to glass bottled wines. In addition to the eco-friendly element, the pouched wine was designed to be easy to enjoy (just pull the tap), portable, chillable and shareable. The bagnums are equivalent to two 750ml bottles and are ideal for outdoor gatherings, picnics, and casual events.
To help bring awareness to the New Matua bagnum, the brand rolled out this versatile merchandiser that was designed to easily fit into retail stores like supermarkets and liquor stores where floor space is at a premium. The display can shop from two sides, has a small footprint and is well built, enabling the brand to get several restocking turns.

The sturdy permanent display was constructed using metal and heavy gauge wire. One of the neat engineering features on the display are the suspension bridge wires that hold the product. Odd looking at first because of the severe bow, the construction allows product facings to be easier accessed, using its weight to feed them forward.
