Creating an Island Destination in Store

Stone & Wood

Lion partnered with ID POP and creative agency PMG to bring Stone & Wood’s “Win Island Life for Life” campaign to life across liquor retail, developing a scalable suite of displays and in store theatre designed to create impact across stores of different sizes and formats.

Rather than relying on a single execution, the program was developed around a tiered approach. At scale, ID POP produced freestanding display units in both single sided and four-way formats, allowing the campaign to adapt to different store footprints while maintaining a consistent Stone & Wood presence.

For flagship locations, the experience was taken considerably further.

The first flagship tier combined FSDUs with a large format archway, transforming the promotional area into a more immersive branded destination. At the most premium locations, two archways were used together with an expansive 3m x 5m floor graphic, approx. 10ft x 16ft, creating a complete island environment that shoppers could physically walk into.

The structural elements were designed and engineered by ID POP in conjunction with PMG, balancing the creative ambition of the campaign with the practical requirements of manufacture, transport, assembly, and installation. The result was a campaign that could scale from individual FSDUs through to high impact destination installations, using the same visual language throughout while adapting the level of theatre to suit each retail environment.
