Goat is a 2026 American animated sports comedy film directed by Tyree Dillihay and written by Aaron Buchsbaum and Teddy Riley. Caleb McLaughlin stars in the lead role, alongside an ensemble voice cast including Gabrielle Union, Aaron Pierre, Nicola Coughlan, David Harbour, Nick Kroll, Jenifer Lewis, Patton Oswalt, Jelly Roll, Jennifer Hudson, Sherry Cola, Eduardo Franco, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, and Stephen Curry (who is also producer on the film).
“GOAT” follows the journey of a small goat, Will, played by McLaughlin, who has big sports dreams. The tiny animal gets an opportunity to play “roarball” at the pro level, which has some of the fastest and fiercest players globally.
Billed as one of the highlights of animation in 2026, the film’s premiere was recently held in Los Angeles on February 6.
To help support the movie in theatres, Sony Pictures Animation developed this gigantic ‘You’re Never Too Small To Dream Big’ display. Measuring in at over ten feet tall, this display was an instant head-turner when entering theatres.
