Ever have an issue with open style hanger products falling off of your display hooks during transit? Probably not often as for the most part, a large percentage of product hangers that our industry deals with are styled like the examples shown below…..fully enclosed, no openings.
Colgate found a very smart solution to this problem in the form of a hoodie shield that shrouds the toothbrushes. The plastic hoodie is simple in construction and highly effective in keeping products on the hooks during transit. In the design shown above, the hoodies are secured to the back panel with a die cut that matches that of the hook so it stays in place without having to use any adhesives. Looks like a clear tape was used to keep the top flaps above the product folded over. Very clever and practical solution……first and only time we have spotted this design at retail.
